Image, Grooming & Deportment Workshop by Ms Angel

Last Thursday and Friday, our students experienced a fun and meaningful grooming workshop. The trainer of the workshop is Ms. Angel, a former cabin crew and expert in grooming training. The workshop is aimed to enable the students to further understand the theory of grooming as a cabin crew and also to allow them to do hands-on practical of grooming as a cabin crew. Through this opportunity, we would like to express our thankfulness to Ms. Angel for her passionate and informative contribution to our students through the workshop

The workshop is split into two sessions,

1. Skin Care, make up and hair styling and

2. Professional Dress Sense and Deportment.

First of all, the students have opportunity to understand their skin type through a small test. It is very important to know your skin type as it will define what kind of cosmetic product you should use. After that, the students are being taught about the make-up. Though the students wear make-up everyday in their daily college routine, the professional cabin crew make-up is slight different from what they daily wear. The most exciting part for this session is that the student is able to try on cabin-crew’s hair style including French twist.

Second part of the workshop is more towards professional image, including the posture, the attire and body language. These will be built up the first impression of the students when they enter interview session or a professional industry.

It was a 6 hours workshop, an intense

yet meaningful workshop for the students. We would like to use this opportunity to express our thankfulness to Ms. Angel, for her fun, passionate and energetic training style and her effort that she put in for the students.
